Nagzira - Pench Wildlife Camp
Part of the Project Tiger scheme the Priyadarshini Pench National Park is one of the premier tiger reserves of India named after the lifeline river pench. Nestled in the southern slopes of Satpura ranges of central India this reserve forms three divisions such as National park,sanctuary and a buffer. Commonly known as the land of Mowgli , sher khan & Bagheera it is considered as one of the epic jungle as Sir David Attenborough's documentary titled “ Spy In The Jungle”paved the boom in tourism at this place.
Along with famous Bengal Tiger Pench is popularly known for Chital, Jungle Cat, Wolf, Indian Leopard, Gaur, Four-horned Antelope, Sloth Bear and many other wildlife. Variety of bird species like Crow Pheasant, Peafowl, Pintail, Lesser Whistling Teal, Indian Roller, Wagtail, Munia, Waterfowl, Blue Kingfisher, Crimson-Breasted Barbet, Red-Vented Bulbul are the flying attractions over here.
